This outstanding program provides a $500 incentive to qualifying active members, retirees, veterans within 24 months of separation from an eligible military branch, spouses/surviving spouses, and other household members towards the purchase or lease of an eligible Ford vehicle. It’s our way of providing a special salute to those who serve!
Who’s Eligible for the Ford Military Appreciation Offer?
Active Duty – Active Military Personnel of any eligible U.S. Military Branch, including:
- Active Military Personnel in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard
- National Guard, Reservists Serving on Active Duty and members of the Delayed Entry/Enlistment Program (DEP)
- Veterans Separated within the last 24 months
- Spouse/Surviving spouse, or other household members
Retirees – Retired Military Personnel of any eligible U.S. Military Branch, including:
- Regular Retirement
- Reserve Retirement
- Early Retirement (TERA)
- Medical Retirement
- Spouse/Surviving Spouse
- Members within the same household
Veterans
- Honorably discharged veterans within 24 months of separation are eligible. You may qualify for a special regional incentive regardless of separation date. Enter your ZIP code on the home page in Step 1 to see if you qualify.
Proof of Eligibility
When verifying your military status, you may be asked to upload military documentation. Verify military eligibility using one of these items listed below:
- Active Duty Service Members: Leave & Earnings Statement (LES), Active duty Enlisted Record Brief (ERB)/Officer Record Brief (ORB), Enlistment Contract
- Veterans: DD214 (Discharge Details Form 214), NGB form 22 (National Guard Bureau similar to a DD214), Veterans Health Identification Card (VHIC), or Veteran Identification Card (VIC), Driver's License or DMV-Issued State ID with VETERAN endorsement
- Retirees: Retiree Account Statement (eRAS), DD214 or NGB form 22 (must show 20 years of service or the reason for discharge was retirement)
- Surviving Spouses & Household members: upload any of the military documents listed in the categories above. Surviving Spouses can also submit a Casualty Report (DD Form 1300).

How can a customer verify their Military eligibility and how long does the verification process take?
All verification must be completed through the fordrecognizesu.com/Military site, by completing Step 1- Find My Offer, and Step 2-Confirm My ID. This will route a consumer to our verification partner ID.me. The verification process typically takes less than a minute; however, when verifying through the document upload option, it may take up to 4 minutes. Sarchione Ford of Randolpf is also standing by to guide you through the process in the event that you need help.
I noticed that my incentive offer for the Military Program is different in Florida than in Ohio. Is that true?
